Adult Class: Cholla Bud Harvest
Earth Day
Celebrate Earth Day’s 50th anniversary with the Desert Museum’s teen volunteers— the Junior Docents. Learn simple ways to be kind and tread lightly on our shared planet. We Zoom into the homes and backyards of our Junior Docents to see what they are doing to fight plastic pollution and the effects of climate change. At the end of the program we share with you our Earth Day eBook full of ideas, projects, crafts and links to guide you through lowering your own eco-footprint.

Cool Kats and Dryland Dogs
Who is fuzzy, wide-eyed, small, and social? Who lives in dry lands, digs burrows for homes, and rises tall on hind feet to watch for danger? Who can you find at two zoos in Tucson, Arizona? Meerkats and Prairie Dogs! Discover the differences between these delightful diggers and who they really are in this special presentation by educators and keepers from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and the Reid Park Zoo.
